About Eliot

Eliot has been looking through a camera lens since he was fourteen and has established himself as one of the Bay Area's finest portrait and event photographers. He received a fine arts degree from the San Francisco Art Institute and has studied with some of the country's most renowned photographers, Ansel Adams and Sally Mann among them. 

He has served on the Board of Directors of both Youth in Arts as well as Marin Primary and Middle School, and donates his services to non-profit projects close to his heart. He and his wife Margot Limm-Holtzman and Addie, the Leonberger live in San Rafael, California. They have three grown children all in the arts.

Usually taken by someone who knows the subject well, the unguarded personality of the subject comes through. After years of picture taking, we're able to capture the same honest expressions only in a beautiful portrait where all the elements—light, color, body language, and composition come together. 

An in-house production staff means we can offer start-to-finish services. By doing much of the finish work in our studio, we're able to focus on every detail. We're masters of archival quality printing as well as custom framing. We offer fine-art quality presentations ranging from albums and portfolio boxes to desk frames, wall composites, and larger wall portraits.
